I designed this preset to be the ultimate melodic rock machine. It lives in the sweet spot between the liquid legato of Joe Satriani and the expressive vocal quality of Steve Vai. It is highly saturated yet incredibly articulate, allowing you to play lightning-fast runs without the notes blurring together.

Whether you are shredding, tapping, or holding a single emotional bend, this preset provides the sustain and harmonic richness to make your guitar sing.

Why this is my “Go-To” Lead:

• Liquid Feel: Optimized gain staging that makes the guitar feel “easy” to play, perfect for fluid legato and sweep picking.

• Mix-Cutting Mids: EQ’d specifically to push your guitar to the front of the mix without being ear-piercing.

• Versatile Delays: Features a lush, stereo delay setting that adds massive depth while keeping the attack punchy and dry.

⚠️ Important Note Regarding the IR: This tone is the foundation of my sound, and its character depends on the cabinet resonance. This preset was created using a specific 3rd-party Impulse Response. The IR file is NOT included in this download.

Recommendation: For the best experience, load a high-quality IR of a Marshall 4×12 with Celestion Vintage 30s (V30). This speaker choice is crucial for that modern shred bite.

Pro Tip: This preset is a dynamic beast. While it screams on the Bridge Pickup, try switching to the Neck Pickup above the 12th fret for that thick, flute-like “Petrucci” or “Slash” lead tone.
