An ultra-clean, polished tone inspired by the classic Mesa/Boogie Triaxis clean sound. Lush chorus and carefully dialed delay create a wide, crystalline ’80s character while preserving clarity, definition, and dynamic response.

TIGHT CRUNCH

A firm and articulate crunch tone based on the legendary Mark IIC+ architecture. It delivers the right amount of gain with a tight low end, sculpted mids, and a focused attack that cuts clearly through a full band mix without becoming harsh or muddy.

DREAM LEAD

A powerful Mark IIC+-inspired lead tone with increased gain, presence, and volume. Its long stereo delay creates a spacious, almost cinematic atmosphere—ideal for melodic solos, sustained notes, and expressive progressive-rock playing.

ORIGINAL CUSTOM IR INCLUDED

The preset includes an original custom impulse response created specifically to complement these three tones. The IR is included with the preset, ensuring that you hear the complete sound exactly as it was designed.

CUSTOM PETRUCCI-INSPIRED WAH

Also included is an exclusive custom wah setting inspired by John Petrucci’s signature Cry Baby wah. It was carefully tuned to deliver a vocal, expressive sweep that remains defined and musical under high gain.

COMPATIBILITY

Originally created on the Fractal Audio FM3, this preset can also be imported for use with the FM9 and Axe-Fx III using the latest compatible editor and updated firmware.
